Levels

A1 : Beginner – no previous experience of learning Portuguese, a complete beginner’s course.
A2-B1 : Intermediate – have studied Portuguese, can conjugate verbs in present tense, have seen past and future, can form sentences and hold a simple conversation.

Beginner
Topics: Greetings, family, numbers/days/months, daily routine, describing people and places, directions, descriptions.
Pre-Intermediate
Topics: to be confirmed.

We aim to help you to learn in an informal, comfortable environment. The course will focus on all aspects of the Portuguese language and introduce you to elements of Portuguese culture.

Laura Blanco de la Barrera

I am an experienced teacher of Galician, Spanish and Portuguese languages. I combine my teaching experience with my research in Literature and Culture Studies alongside other interdisciplinary passions. Previous experiences include teaching and tutoring at the Faculty of Medieval and Modern Languages of the University of Oxford and the Oxford Department for Continuing Education.
My language teaching courses are always tailored to the students’ needs and interests through collaborative, interactive and creative approaches.
