Polish is necessary if you want to visit Poland or to communicate with Polish people living in Southampton in their native language. The Polish language helps us to understand the Polish and Eastern European culture better and to stretch our cognitive abilities. We aim to help you to learn Polish in an informal, comfortable environment. Our experienced and qualified teachers are friendly and highly skilled. You will learn by listening to audio excerpts, watching short video clips, reading interesting stories and articles. You will learn grammar through practice exercises, both written and spoken. Phrases are introduced and students are encouraged to practise by speaking in small groups. By the end of a beginner’s course, you will be able to communicate in Polish using simple phrases and sentences.
I have taught personal development in my home country of Poland from 2000 to 2011. Now I have been an education lecturer at Polish University in London from 2011, as well as working in primary schools. I have been teaching Polish as a foreign language for 2 years. I approach learning with a sense of fun and adventure, using modern interactive methods.
