Arabic Teachers

Dr Amal Al-Ayoubi-Pegg

I have been teaching Arabic as a foreign language since 2001. My work has encompassed a wide range of courses: Diploma in Communicative Arabic; Foreign office courses; evening classes both for native and non-native speakers; Levant dialect; and one to one and groups tailored courses. So I have the experience to structure a course and create new materials according to the needs and aims of the learner. I enjoy bringing cultural elements like literary extracts or songs into the very basic level. Teaching obviously requires versatility, but patience seems particularly important when teaching Arabic and my students have always seemed to appreciate my possession of it; hopefully this helps to ensure an enjoyable experience for those taking on the challenge of learning a new language.
