Italian Teachers

Gabriella Ongaro

Gabriella uses the theme of travel to teach you Italian language in her classes, from booking to sightseeing through Italian medieval villages, to sunbathing at the seasides. Graduated in English grammar and Literature in Italy, she now works as a TA in a primary school, and has taught Italian language and literature since her arrival.

Tecla Giuciolli

I am an Italian teacher with background studies in Latin and Greek languages and Classical literature. I have obtained a Master degree in Classical languages and a Master of Art in UK in Classics. I am an enthusiastic teacher with experience in teaching Italian language and Italian literature. I also taught Latin and Greek in secondary schools.

Emanuela Vendetti

Ciao! My name is Emanuela, I am an Italian teacher moved to the UK just after having obtained a Masters Degree in Italian Linguistics at the University of Rome Sapienza. Thanks to my academic specialty in the field of the language learning, I developed a great passion for teaching Italian as a second language to any level and age learners. My first direct experience here was assisting the Italian teacher at the University of Southampton conducting lessons to undergraduate students. Since than I have never stopped teaching my language to a
wide range of students.

Giulia Iani

I am a native Italian speaker, also fluent in English and Spanish. I was always passionate about languages, and took a Master’s Degree in Modern Languages in Italy and then decided to move to the UK where I have taught Italian for adults at Portsmouth College and offered Italian and Spanish private tuition. I studied for the PTTLS qualification during this time. After a break to look after her children I am now enjoying teaching at Language Class.
