A1 : Beginner – no previous experience of learning German, a complete beginner’s course.
A1.2 : Beginner 2 – have studied a little German before, can conjugate basic verbs in the present tense, form simple sentences and know vocabulary for everyday situations.
A2 : Pre-Intermediate – can conjugate verbs in the present tense, have seen past and future tenses and know enough vocabulary to form sentences and hold a simple conversation.
B1 : Intermediate – can conjugate verbs in the present, past and future tenses, can hold a conversation in German.

Topics: Introductions, greetings, countries, alphabet, jobs, family, food & drink, relationships, free time activities, food, preferences, people and houses, appointments, places.
Grammar: Verben, pronomen, possessivepronomen, wechsel Präpositionen, possessive adjectives, articles, question forms and sentence structures.
Beginner 2 Download example syllabus
Topics: Hobbies and activities, family relationships, places in town, asking for directions, shopping, clothes & prices, ordering food and drink.
Grammar: Possessives, sentence and question formations.
Pre-intermediate Download example syllabus
Topics: Going out, arranging to meet, daily routine, what happened at the weekend, transport, opinions, shopping.
Grammar: Separable verbs, modal verbs, future tense, present perfect tense, accusative, dative, prepositions.
Intermediate Download example syllabus
Topics: Education system, career and lifestyle. Culture, hobbies advantages and disadvantages of work situations
Grammar: Reflexive verbs, Das Perfekt, Die Zukunft ausdrücken, Verben und Präpositionen, Berufstitel, Konjunktionen, Das Präteritum.

I am a native German speaker and a qualified teacher. After studying in Germany I gained a PGCE qualification from the University of Hull and went on to teach at comprehensive schools and John Leggott College in Scunthorpe North Lincolnshire for several years before moving to Hampshire. I have enjoyed teaching all levels of German and all age groups..
Hello!I am graduated German teacher with many years teaching experience. I studied at University of Belgrade and at Humboldt-University in Berlin. Recently, I moved to Southampton. For me it’s wonderful to be in touch with foreign languages and other cultures, I enjoy teaching German for all levels and all ages groups.
I grew up speaking fluent German with my mum and English with my dad. I’ve lived abroad in Holland, Uruguay and Africa and love to travel. I’m currently studying Events Management at Bournemouth University, but have taught German alongside my studies and love being able to show others how wonderful learning the language is.
