German Teachers

Denise Lecher

I am a qualified teacher and mother to an 8-year old who is growing up bilingual. I am from Vienna (Austria) but I also lived for a number of years in the German speaking part of Switzerland. My youngest student is 3 years old and my oldest 83. I am a very passionate teacher who likes a practical approach and working with people of all different backgrounds and ages. I think after 15 years of teaching it is safe to say that I still love what I am doing.

Rachel Rees

I am a fluent in both spoken and written German having spent most of my adult life living and working in Vienna, Austria. I taught performing arts for many years while I was there, using German to communicate with my students on a daily basis. Since returning to the UK I have taught German to private students as well as English to German students on various occasions. To support my FL teaching skills I have a CEFR B2 Certificate in German from the Goethe Institute in London and I continue to deepen my subject knowledge through pursuing degree-level CEFR qualifications. Most importantly though, I enjoy helping people learn languages.
