German Teachers

Simon Walker

Having spent many years teaching English as a foreign language in both the UK and several other countries, I have now decided to return to the UK permanently in order to gain an MA in Career Management, but intend to teach German on a part time basis whilst studying. As well as having an MA(Hons) in German, I lived for extensive periods in both Germany and Switzerland and thoroughly enjoy teaching and speaking the German language. In my free time, I enjoy travelling, meeting new people, walking, swimming, studying astrology and broadcasting on hospital radio.

Rachel Rees

I am a fluent in both spoken and written German having spent most of my adult life living and working in Vienna, Austria. I taught performing arts for many years while I was there, using German to communicate with my students on a daily basis. Since returning to the UK I have taught German to private students as well as English to German students on various occasions. To support my FL teaching skills I have a CEFR B2 Certificate in German from the Goethe Institute in London and I continue to deepen my subject knowledge through pursuing degree-level CEFR qualifications. Most importantly though, I enjoy helping people learn languages.
