German Teachers

Andrea Hoyland

Hi, my name is Andrea and I am excited about teaching you German. It’s easy to pick up, is easy to pronounce and the grammar rules aren’t too tricky either! I started learning German at school when I had a German pen pal, determined to be able to communicate in words rather than just by mime and facial gestures. What started out as a curiosity for the language, soon developed into a real passion for it alongside a real appreciation for the culture, the country itself and good friends made along the way. For several years, I have been sharing my enthusiasm for German language learning at both secondary, adult and primary level. I hope to bring that sense of fun and achievement to a classroom with you.
